Greetings to all ArtWorks members, past members and friends.

ArtWorks Oakville has been a driving force for artists in the community since 2006. During that time we have exhibited artwork in many places; Oakville Community Centres, Town Hall, Julia’s restaurant, Halton Reginal Offices, Royal LePage offices, O’Connor McLeod Offices, and many restaurants throughout Oakville.    We have enjoyed nearly 20 years of exhibiting the work of local artists in our community and have sponsored 24 Annual Juried Shows.

 Like many others, we have gone through Covid and emerged to find things have changed. Some of our best sites have closed, our membership has dwindled, and sales of artwork in general have slowed.

After many great years of participating in this vibrant organization, it is with sadness that the board has come to the decision to close ArtWorks. We have enjoyed collaborating with our members to produce excellent exhibits of their artwork and wish them every success going forward.

 

Artists can pick up their work currently being exhibited at QEPCC on September 2 at 10 am.

Artwork at O’Connor site can also  be picked up September 2 at 10 am.
